I tend to have the same collection of people over at my house all the time, which is all well and good until there are 6+ identical mugs of coffee lying around and nobody has a keen sense of spatial memory. So I decided to throw these together.

Although I was originally going to create smooth vector illustrations, I opted instead for the rougher hand-drawn versions, as they were matching the crafty décor of the lounge room at the time. the whole process was done using 50-cent bathroom tiles, crafting felt, Mod-Podge and and a matte finishing spray.

Lately I have been getting a lot of demand to create more of these, and I have designs in progress for ‘generic guest’ tiles as well. this original batch have admittedly started to weather slightly after 8 months of use, but this is easily avoidable by applying extra coats of sealant spray at the end.
